I'm gonna sound like a boomer for saying this, but the current music generally sucks. Save for reggaetón (and Alex will debate me on this) it feels like generally, over the past 5 years, the current music has fallen off of a cliff. 1978-1987 was about the sweet spot for music. This song is good though. Fixed that for you. I do have a love for 80s music as well, to be fair. Second best era of music.

Check out my friend's new song y'all. I've known him since I was 4 it would mean a lot to me. It's his 4th single and very good, I know I'm biased but I can tell y'all that it definitely doesn't feel like it was released in 2023. Definitely reminds me more of a bygone era.

Olivia Rodrigo - a rare example of a 2020s artist that I like. She's so talented and her music feels both 1990s and 2010s at the same time.
