Sequoia (Ash Mountain, CA)
Even despite the too-dry summers, it still wins - as the only one with a truly good precipitation profile (New River Gorge) is too chilly throughout the year.

Sequoia is pretty nice, despite the wet winters. Death Valley has better winters but summer highs pushing 50 C is just too much, even if it's a dry heat.

Sequoia quite easily. Its Mediterranean climate is by far the best of all the national parks. It would be cool to visit Death Valley for a day in July, but I would definitely not want to live there.

Tough choice between New River Gorge and Badlands, but ultimately went with Badlands for the higher continentality.
