This was the 3rd sunless day in a row in Paree, which is very rare this time of the year. Indeed, this is the first time in the 2000s this happens in March. Magnificent sunset this evening at the edge of this cloud band. Needless to say, the temperature underperformed badly compared to the forecast again, with a 9°C max insteadof the forecasted 15°C.   |

Cool, rainy, and foggy here today, with a high/low of 51/42 and 0.11" of rain. Visibility down to just 0.13 miles currently!
Tomorrow will see temperatures climb into the low 70s even on Long Island as a warm, dry westerly flow dominates  |

Had a rain to snow front last night, picked up 0.33” (8 mm) of precipitation. The rain then turned to snow with 1.1” (3 cm) falling. It all melted by afternoon though.

Stockholm recently broke its record for lowest relative humidity with a whopping 7% RH. That's pretty insane. Previous record was 12%, so almost half the previous record.

Had 0.5” (1 cm) of snow overnight but it warmed up to a sunny 56 (13 c). Next snow system is supposed to come Monday before the warmest temps of the season enter the forecast.

Temps in the lower 60s with some fog and overcast today. Thunderstorms expected tonight, the NWS storm prediction center has a risk of severe thunderstorms with a chance of hail/wind as a cold front blows through.  |

Tuesday is looking concerning. A Moderate risk has been issued already for Tues. This is pretty rare - the last time this happened on Day 3 outlook was the Easter Sunday tornado outbreak of 2020. Hoping the system pushes through my area before there's much daytime heating Tuesday morning. I'm in Enhanced risk (level 3 of 5) right now. Haven't really had much in the way of severe weather in a while. Had strong, but non-severe storms this past week.  |

Today is the first day of the year with our average high above freezing and average low above -10C! And we've been having a stretch of above average weather the last few days so it's finally felt like spring Much of the snow has melted at this point but the city is still a muddy, puddle-filled mess. Had a high/low of 65/48 here and mostly sunny conditions for a nice day here yesterday, with 0.18" of rain falling in the evening as some thunderstorms associated with a cold front moved thru the area, with a strong cell passing over my house. No lightning seen but heard plenty of thunder.

Umeå Airport actually broke its all-time march record with 14.5'C, compared to the previous (quite tame) record of 14.2'C from 2007. The Uni station almost reached 16'C, as did a traffic agency station a couple dozen miles inland. My balcony was reading over 20'C in the shade when I was having a coffee in the summerlike microclimate. |

Hyvinkää in inland southern Finland recorded a high of 15.6C, which was the warmest temp today, and probably will be this March's record. Turku had to be content with a 12.3C recording.

Warm today, high was 66 (19 c) with dews dipping into the single digits f. Supposed to get a cold front tonight but nothing special with only light snow and a high in the low 40s tomorrow.

Warmest day of the year here with 18.5°C/65°F. Extremely hot indoors as it seems nowhere I go to has climate control.
