5-6 cm of snow during the night and morning. Nice! Absolutely nothing here. Just 5C rain. Proper Bri-ish weather!

Long strand of precip from northern Greenland down to around Bermuda latitude. Very odd.

We've had fog here the past three nights. Fog is somewhat uncommon here, and it is especially unusual to see it three nights in a row. But I like fog, so I'm not complaining.

Finally checked the sunshine stats for recent months in Saskatoon, and it seems we had one of the biggest drops in sunshine I can remember from October to November. We went from 228.8 hours (69.6% of possible) in October to 79.9 hours (30.3%) of possible in November. Combined with the temperatures going from several degrees above average in October to several degrees below average in November, it was quite a drop off the cliff into winter this year.

Between a rock and a hard place. This December can become the coldest in last 20 years. It has gone down to -11,7C in Riga this morning, -22C in Vidzeme Upland in eastern Latvia. Considering very high energy prices and a starting recession in Latvia (Latvia is one of few countries in recession in Eurozone), this will be so bad for people here. Minimal temperatures last night I will stay at home today, I guess. The positive thing is that I have sent a donation to Kharkiv volunteers in Ukraine to help people to survive in Kharkiv oblast this winter. In my neighborhood

How come Brittany, of all places, is 10°C colder than here?

ECM ensemble for snow precip in Paris. Some very high totals on some of them, though of course we'll end up with 0.001 cm.

We have got 252 mm of rainfall from cyclone Mandous, the most intense rainfall event I have ever experienced though for the Indians it was nothing special.

Optimistic snow totals but I'll be happy if we get something.

-8.6C low last night, new record for the season. Won't last more than 24 hours before a new one.
December running 2.7C below average, and it's only the first 10 days of the month.

First snow day of the winter! Only 1" or so though. Anyway, here is an APPLE tree by a stream, most the Apples have fallen off but a few are still hanging on, and you can see (in this low quality photo) a couple covered in snow LOL.

The first snowfall of the winter is possible here today. NWS has a light dusting, for we should stay mainly rain here at the coast. ilmc90 could see significant accumulation as he’s well inland.

Solidly within the 3 inch range Metsfan257. Higher elevations of far northwest NJ (High Point), Upstate NY (Monticello) and the Poconos may get even higher totals.

Yeah those places should have no problems with rain and sleet mixing. Snow levels below 1,500-2,000 feet in elevation with this storm definitely.

A dusting of snow in parts of the suburbs here, though nothing in most places. Quite unusually, Paris-Montsouris recorded an ice day while all of the main airports went above freezing (0.7°C at CDG and Orly, 0.8°C at Le Bourget). Strange stuff as it's obviously usually the other way around. Btw, cold night in central France:
