My bad! There is actually one more location in mainland Greece that has never recorded an air frost! Lavrio which is located in the southernmost part of the Athens Riviera has seen an absolute minimum of 0.1C just barely escaping freezing Ts! Though I am pretty sure Lavrio has recorded a frost before the station started its operation.

Posted already on City Data, yes it could. Current low is close to freezing with 1.6C and not really a reason to call off a chance below freezing eventually.

We are a strong minority then!lol The consensus among the "majority" of members here is that nice or hot weather is "boring" 🤮 !! Imagine thinking that cold subarctic overcast weather is better than a nice warm or hot day

That was back in 2008 during one of the most historic cold snaps south Greece has ever seen in its entire modern met history. Below the updated normals of Monemvasia Btw the WMO station of the National Observatory of Athens is located in mainland Peloponnese just off the tied island of Monemvasia. At the premises of Municipal Enterprise of Water and Sewerage Supplies of Monemvasia. We are talking proper mainland Greece here. oscar.wmo.int/surface/#/search/station/stationReportDetails/0-300-1-monemvasiaAnd here is a view of the Monemvasia WMO station. Perfect set up as per WMO standards since the station is located on the ground overlooking the sea. Easily the area with the mildest winders in mainland Greece. Also probably one of the few locations in mainland Greece which is 11a hardiness zone. Probably also the extreme SW tip of Peloponnese might also be 11a. It's a pity we don't have a station over there!

Another interesting fact about Monemvasia is that in 2007 it registered the highest minimum temperature ever recorded in mainland Europe with a stunning 35.9C minimum
