This is shaping up to be a much more dynamic month than December. That is, much wetter, much colder, and a good chance of snow and cold temperatures around mid-month.

Mostly fair weather the next few days. Temps not too bad. Hoping we get a freeze next Tuesday night; it's been more than two weeks since we had one.

Here's an updated forecast. Looks like western Norway Or perhaps like Juneau, Alaska?
Western Norway doesn't even have a single low colder than 5C in forecast, like Stavanger.
Rainy and mild also here in Mid-Norway like my part of Trondheim, rain seems to ease further ahead:

NidarosWell, I mean in general. Western Norway is warmer now than here but my forecast could easily be in Western Norway at a different period in winter.

A proper mid-winter cold snap is on its way. The Weather Network is forecasting 10 to 15 cm of snow on Wednesday (though usually the actual amount falls a bit shy of their predictions). After that, primarily temperatures in the -20s for the next week and a half or so.

Snow with a high in the -20s. Now that's intense. Mmh doesn't look any better in Fahrenheit.
