A White Christmas is in the cards here with 2-4 in/5-10 cm expected.  New Years is looking white as well. Potential snowstorm next weekend, but too soon to say for certain. |

Christmas Eve here was sunny, 17.8C/28.0C on my PWS and 17.0C/29.7C at the airport.
Christmas Day forecast is sunny and 13C/32C

Decently cool Christmas Eve afternoon; didn't get as warm as forecast. It got up to 55F around 1 PM, but a front came thru bringing a cool northerly wind and dropping temp a bit. 48F at 5 PM.

would you prefer -19°C and a light breeze? I'll be in NYC which will be only -12°C I'd prefer -1°C and clear sky  Actually it'll be the eight consecutive new year's night in Nyköping above freezing. In Örebro that will be the seventh. Incredible given that January is still averaging -4°/-5°C avg lows depending on location. |
