As long as you have blinds, 24h daylight is only good. It really is amazing to be outside around midnight or like 3 in the morning and have sunlight. Few things are as wonderful as a stroll in a bright night, seriously. It's a kind of magic. Among Sweden's latitudes and locations, which would be your favourite in terms of the daylight cycle? I really enjoyed Örebro's late sunsets in summer being 7 min west and say 10 mins north of here. Ultimately I therefore think Strömstad or Årjäng have the best daylight cycles in the country I'd miss the summer twilights a lot if I moved south, but would absolutely hate the seemingly perpetual darkness of northerly latitudes in winter. Strömstad's main advantage is the later winter sunsets, whereas Årjäng's main advantage is the longer summer twilights. Strömstad: June, DecemberÅrjäng: June, DecemberWould be keen on jgtheone's assessment of those two daylight cycles also? As westward as you can get without ending up in Norge.

They look the same wtf? Same sort of deal too, lovely late sunsets but crappy early sunrises.

I damn well miss those extra afternoon minutes in Örebro Makes more sense once you've moved around a bit to appreciate how much that really is. You've only lived in the same place all your life, correct?

I just know that from frequent trips to queensland, their daylight hours are abysmal.

Utö has its earliest sunrise at 4:12, so it's a bit later at least.
