Woolbrook is a settlement lying at 30° 58’ 1.92” S and is elevated by 910 m AMSL along the Northern Tablelands and North West Slopes border of New England, NSW. Frosts in Woolbrook are often severe, with many lows plunging to –10° C or lower during winter, and lighter frosts may also occur in summer; this is owing to the deep valley position of Woolbrook. On account of its elevation, Woolbrook sees occasional yet annual snowfall with frequent fog and many thunderstorms, of which are typically quite severe. B+: Winters too warm (by maxima) and sunny, but excellent summers and autumns. Springs are too warm relative to autumns.

Never thought the day would come when myself and the man whose favourite maritime climate is a glacier would both rate a climate A A- Very good averages but lacks that extra punch required for a higher A; like warmer winter days for example. That being said, minor frosts in combination with 12°C highs is fine by me

I'd be content to live in it. However, I prefer warmer, more humid summers, personally. C+.

B The temperatures looks comfortable and precipitation is okay. What are the sunshine hours? Woolbrook cops 118 clear days anually, so sunshine would be about 2,800-2,900 hrs.

It's a solid B climate with gorgeous summers and pleasantly cool winters.

I'll give this a solid A-.
Looks like it gets a little bit of everything but without too much of anything, the only drawback is I'm just not much of a fan of big diurnals in spring/autumn when you don't know how to dress for the temps.

C-
Almost like Canberra but wetter. Lows are too cold, but in the summer they seem pretty refreshing.

D-
Lame summers, colder winters than ideal, but atleast the frost and thunderstorms provide some interest.

B-. Decent inoffensive temps but definitely loses points for the shitty record lows and summer rain peak

C- because winters are good but summers get too warm in the day.

A. Winters are a bit too dry and too warm during the day, but ample summer storms and cool winter nights definitely make up for these shortcomings.

Solid C for being cool, but not subalpine

Appears to get 30-40 thunderstorms per year. Wonder how often it snows, could be a solid B climate with a decent amount of snow, C+/B- if it’s rarer.
