Itโs actually a pretty scenic location. Street views look quite pretty, houses look rather run-down though.

I found the 1981-2010 Environment Canada for Nain (this was based upon 1971-2000) and also found the figures in the original weatherbox had been vandalized by somebody on Wikipedia and in some months (summer normals and winter extremes) didn't match reality. While that is a bit sad, at least I've now given Wikipedia contemporary averages and correct ones at that. Has it gotten better or worse y'all think? It definitely has gotten milder and with a greater margin to the tree line with August getting milder, also making the seasonal lag stronger in classic Maritimes Canadian fashion. Due to occasional warm winds from the interior on the vast Labrador landmass, there can be usually be at least one warm day per summer. In the 21st century so far, it has on average reached about 28ยฐC on the warmest day of the year, which is very impressive given the averages.

I think everyone here knows what rating I gave to Nain.
