D-, bordering on a standard D: Good sides: Comfortable summer days. Solid snow cover in winter without getting too much, as opposed to bone-dry cold or Hokkaido. Nice end to spring and beginning of autumn. Good amount of overall precipitation for its latitude. Low humidity during warmer spells. Bad sides: Too cold for my tastes in winter. 13 sunshine hours in December at 51°N is terrible Record lows are horrific. Too weak chinooks for the area in winter. Overall too cloudy, even in summer, except for August, which looks alright. Summer nights aren't exactly up to scratch considering what the highs are. I'd preferred 13-14°C lows instead.

C+, by maritime standards. Cold winters, but summers are far too warm. Snowfall is too little relative to its extreme cold; almost a cold desert, but not quite Swedish yet

D-
Temperatures are okay (though nights are a bit cold, particularly in the warmer half of the year) but the horrific cloudiness just ruins it. Also too dry in the warm half of the year and too cold in the winter.
Not one of BC's finest climates.

C-. Not bad but a slight downgrade from Rochester.

B-
Too cloudy in winter, too dry overall (although winter isn't bad precipitation-wise but Fernie is a superior climate with more precipitation), and too cool at night in summer. Other than that it's a great climate.
I was there in late December a couple years ago. Lots of snow of course but it was only -3C or so.

B-. Too dry, too continental, reversed from best sunshine pattern (and too extreme of a pattern regardless), snow is not spread out enough and slightly lacking in amount given temperatures in later months (Feb, Mar).

Definitely one of the worst in the region. F+. There's a good climate in BC called "Summerland" that I found earlier.

Too dry, too cloudy, too cool in summer, too fast of a spring warm up. But it's far from being god awful, and doesn't look boring. C.

Only complaint is the dryness but otherwise an excellent climate.

A-.
Great climate overall. Could do with a bit more precipitation during fall and spring; conversely I'd like to see less during summer.
