All available climate data for an inland, high altitude station on Svalbard that was set up 2 years ago. Pretty sick that Longyearbyens 1961-1990 annual mean is almost 1C lower than what this place had during this 2 year period, considering Longyearbyen is located directly by the sea. Svalbards temperature increase is insane. Based on this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longyearbyen1961-1990 in Longyearbyen average was -7.5C, ranging from -17 in February to 5 in July 1991-2020 average was -3.9C, ranging from -12 in March to 7 in July Ridiculous warming indeed. April is colder than January in this box, which is also insane.

Averages for the entire period (top) and last 10 years (bottom) for my nearest COOP station. Might have to start using the latter to make comparisons to recent weather because the first climate no longer exists. Most notable difference is more precipitation days without much more rainfall and lack of extremes. Lows have warmed more than twice as much as highs (1.3 F vs 0.5 F).

Most continental (top) and least continental (bottom) stations in Kazakhstan, among those with 1991-2020 normals. Mynzhilki is also the highest elevation station in the country at 3017 m (9898 ft). 🖕🏿Mörön🖕🏿 alex992

Sheffield in time period I've lived in the area, with 2023 now added, and records from the period only. As can be seen, rain has increased greatly due to the wet rot that was 2023. Sun values are provisional, so the real number is supposedly higher.

Here is Ulladulla since I have lived year (2012+). I am too lazy to average out the tables though. 2024 doesn't look great so far! Note that humidity and dew point were found using link and an online calculator (dews are superior when referencing the effect of humidity). Also, sunshine was calculated using this (results increased by 5%, as the calculator slightly underestimates the sunshine). 2012:2013:2014:2015:2016:2017:2018:2019:] 2020:2021:2022:2023:

Here are a few climate boxes that I made using the new NOAA 1991-2020 climate normals ( link). Useful, particularly in African countries with 1961-1990 data. For some places, I combined old data to get humidity and sunshine. Dew point (using a calculator) and % sunshine were also included, as they are superior IMO: Dakar, Senegal (Now close to BWh) Cape Town, South Africa (Now close to Csa) Pasabién, Guatemala Maha Illupallama, Sri Lanka Maracay, Venezuela

Here are a few more climate boxes that I made using some data. I stumbled upon an entire report for climatic data of Greenlandic Stations ( link); Met Office Data for a part of the Orkney Islands ( link); and BOM data for Sale ( still less sunshine than Melbourne) and Cape Moreton Lighthouse ( link). I also added the dew points (as they are more useful than relative humidity) and % sunshine (contextualises sunshine considering day length). Here they are: Pituffik, Greenland: A classic coastal Arctic tundra locale. Cape Moreton Lighthouse, Australia: A warm, wet and oceanic-influenced subtropique. Lock of Hundland, Scotland: Near the cool, wet and cloudy end of an oceanique. Sale, Australia: A relatively mild and dry oceanic climate that is cooler than Melbourne.

It's been just over two years since I've moved back to NC and setup my Davis VP2 PWS here, so here's the averages for that period, after two very mild winters in the New Age climate. Keep in mind that April precip is skewed down because I'd miss a heavy precip event the night before I set up PWS on April 5, 2022 (1.37", though that month ultimately finished drier than normal), complete daily data started on April 7 though.

Modifying Sheffield's climate to make it more like my dream climate: Modifying Sheffield's climate so that it is completely sunny in summer, with constant high pressure and very warm, dry days. Modifying Sheffield's climate so that it is more "continental" with colder winters and warmer summers: Modifying Sheffield's climate so that it is more "oceanic" with milder winters, more seasonal lag: Modifying Sheffield's climate so that it has a summer monsoon: Modifying Sheffield's climate so that it is milder, drier and sunnier:

Cadeau no need to modify this one, think you will love Lanai City. It's a mid elevation Hawaiian climate.

What kind of human being decided to build a city and settle there? That climate is simply not healthy for long-term stay.
