No seriously...Almaty has an amazing climate for being nearly dead centre of a huge continent.
And much better than Astana, KZ for that matter.

suicide by boredom is surely a common occurrence in that piece of shit climate There is one member who won't commit suicide in this climate, mind you. Chiefly because it matches rather well with his personality

Voting Almaty (not due to AW's spastickunt comment) but because the weather is basically A for 9 months and E for 3. March/November in Almaty are about my dream winter temperatures.
The other one is a solid D rating, as it barely deviates. Mean maximum of 23C in June is appaling, when it is higher in the winter months. Then the record high is in November. Wtf.

Almaty, as any real weather enthusiast would vote for. Santa Monica would have you bored to tears.
Almaty kind of reminds me of a more continental Boston.

That's a no trainer. Almaty has cold winters, while Santa Monica has a quite comfortable 17c at it coldest. The summer is boring, yes, but escaping winter is more important.

Cause Almaty is cold and cold sucks ass should've made it Santa Monica vs Tashkent or some shit, then I would've voted for the fun one

To be fair, Perth has vastly, vastly more variety than Santa Monica. It is better than Santa Monica in every category.

People act like Perth is like some lameshit climate that's 70F all the time, but in reality Perth gets epic dry heat!!! Perth has a record high of 115F, come on. Meanwhile "exciting" climates like Binghamton or Rochester struggle to reach 90F lmao

That's right, Perth gets variety, it gets summer heatwaves, strong winter cold fronts with strong winds and storms, thunderstorms can happen any time of the year, and there's even some frost in the inland suburbs. Santa Monica cannot even remotely compare.

Not so exciting now, Perth

Not so exciting now, Perth Winter instability sucks ass, I'd rather have jacarandas and palm trees. Tho I can't lie Cowra has a fucking epic climate as well, certainly obliterates anything we have in North America. Arguing whether Cowra or Perth is better is like arguing if you'd rather have a Lamborghini or Ferrari
