The years 2007-2012 in London saw some absolutely terrible weather; multiple record breaking cloudy, wet and cool summers, the coldest and cloudiest December on record, the cloudiest winter on record. It also saw the 2 warmest Aprils on record, but on the whole it was a terrible time for weather (probably responsible for the vast majority of moaning about summers today). Which of these years is the least bad?
2007
2008
2009
2010
2011
2012

2010; But they're all garbage. That's the point of the thread.
I'd probably go with 2011 ahead of 2009.

2010, fucken!
By leagues the most exciting, owing chiefly to its colder & likewise snowier winters.

Thought you would've gone for 2009, just for November. 7.4° C / 12.6° C will be only cold rain rather than snowfall, so nah.

2009, better than my climate by far and up there with our best years, probably even better than 1997, 2014 and 2016.

I remember 2011 in London pretty fondly because of that insane warm and dry April then the record Sept/Oct heatwave. The actual summer was pretty poor but the warm season went on so long it felt like it was a northern English summer for a full half the year.

huh, August seems pretty equal with July in terms of warmth. Meaning, some years had August as the warmest month, in some cases by quite a lot. :/

2007 and 2011 were pretty good apart from sunshine. 2011 slightly better.

Although I prefer the summers in the other years, I will go with 2010. Summer still looked pretty comfortable, winter was chilly and sunshine hours were on the lower side.
