Two nearby climates, but with different features due to Armavir's greater proximity to the warming Black Sea. It's noteworthy that Armavir is at 45°N while Pyatigorsk is at the low 44°N, which actually is a role reversal of their climates. They're close enough for sunshine to be (likely) very similar in both locations. For me this one is incredibly difficult since both are solid C:s with some major flaws. That being said, Armavir slightly gets the nod due to the warmer shoulder seasons and the epic May's, June's and September's in comparison to the weaker months in Pyatigorsk. I think I could live with 30/16 in July due to the cooling influence during nights, whereas 27/15 for Pyatigorsk is still slightly above my dream climate. As for the winters, the chance to get a lasting snow cover looks poor at either place with a strong sun and highs above 0°C, so even though Armavir's deeper in the temperature dead zone (0-5°C) actually this helps rather than hinders this time, since snowfall will be quite miserable in Pyatigorsk. These are close enough though, that double the precipitation in Pyatigorsk during winter might have flipped them.
