Interior California vs Southeast Texas by the Gulf. While Sacramento is far from perfect, it's still a B- climate, whereas Houston is more or less a D+ due to its insane summer lows and way too many storms for my liking.

I must say I never expected to vote for Sacramento in a climate battle, yet here we are.

I must say I never expected to vote for Sacramento in a climate battle, yet here we are. As far as subtropical climates go though, Sacramento isn't that bad by your standards, surely? Cool summer nights and all that.

Sacramento by far. Houston’s humidity and rainfall are awful.

Houston!!! Bar none! They get some amazing thunderstorms and plentiful rainfall throughout the year, as well as decent cold snaps in the winter. Sacramento is pissboring with fuck-all storms in the summer and sometimes, hardly any rain in the winter.

Sacramento. At least their average lows are close to my ideal.

Houston. I need thunderstorms and proper summer lows. It's superior in every conceivable way.

Both are really nice, but Houston has the warmest winters.

Both are really nice, but Houston has the warmest winters. Houston's winter averages don't tell the whole story, due to instability. They get freezing rain, sleet and the occasional snow mixed with days with highs above 25°C; where Sacramento is more stable I vote Sacramento
