Kaleetan Cheeseman Plots for Madison, for June/July/August *Tagging Cheeseman in case he's interested, he's also near Madison June(For around the monthly mean max, 88°F which roughly translates to 90°F highs) 99th percentile: ~77°F 90th percentile: ~74°F 75th percentile: ~71°F Mean: ~68°F 25th percentile: ~63°F 10th percentile: ~57°F 1st percentile: ~48°F (extrapolating a bit, could be a little off) (Near the average high, 76°F) 90th percentile: ~69°F Mean: ~61°F 10th percentile: ~49°F July(For around the monthly mean max, 90°F which roughly translates to 92°F highs) 99th percentile: ~79°F 90th percentile: ~75°F 75th percentile: ~73°F Mean: ~70°F 25th percentile: ~67°F 10th percentile: ~64°F 1st percentile: ~55°F (Near the average high, 80°F) 90th percentile: ~72°F Mean: ~65°F 10th percentile: ~55°F August(For around the monthly mean max, 87-88°F which roughly translates to 90°F highs) 99th percentile: ~78°F 90th percentile: ~74°F 75th percentile: ~71°F Mean: ~68°F 25th percentile: ~65°F 10th percentile: ~62°F 1st percentile: ~53°F (Near the average high, 79°F) 90th percentile: ~71°F Mean: ~64°F 10th percentile: ~54°F Like the previous plots I made, I use dry-bulb temps a couple of °F below the respective average highs/monthly mean max highs, as that appears to be the typical difference between average warmest hourly temp, and the instantaneous daily high.

Benfxmth I'm not merely near Madison - I live within city limits, and near downtown at that.

Phoenix in July and August has a much different plot shape compared to the humid climates of New Bern, Atlanta, and Madison.

It’s a desert monsoon dry bulb-wet bulb curve. Humid air = monsoon moisture/rainfall and below-mean temps.

June all over the place; July and August a tight relationship from the monsoon as psychedamike24 mentioned
