Two bad climates if you love precipitation...
For me Sana'a (the capital of Yemen) is an A- climate and the easy winner. Closer to an ideal precipitation amount (400-700 mm is the best), more cool nights throughout the year, and a lot more comfortable days. Las Vegas is even drier, and summer overnight lows are oppressive.

Las Vegas for being more seasonal and having a chance of snow.
Sanaa is pretty much ideal for a climate with such small seasonal variation though.

Sanaa is the best, and it also gets a lot of thunderstorms in summer unlike Las Vegas.

Didn't expect to pick Sana'a in a climate battle, but here we are. How come? The lack of summer heat? Cooler summers almost always win! I'd still take KC over Sana'a, though, because Sana'a is "mostly tolerable year round" while KC has true seasons. |

I had no idea Yemen had such ideal temps in their capital. Too bad it's a desert. 1000mm more precipitation and it would be A+. Now though, maybe B+
