I found this place yesterday, duly looked for it on the Bureau of Meteorology's website and made this weatherbox.
This interior NSW climate is warmer than the Tablelands, but cooler than Sydney. Sunshine most definitely somewhere above 2,600 hours. Sydney has 2,635 hours, whereas Canberra has 2,813 hours. Taralga is probably somewhere in between. It can receive cold nights year round, but is also highly variable. There has been a 24°C overnight low recorded for example, in spite of its relative elevation and inland position. My grade is A- It's great as far as more variable climates go. Summers are wonderful. Cool nights with 26-27°C days being very normal. Winters see frosts but stay well out of the thermal deadzone during daytime, and the winter sunshine should make it feel rather comfortable at 34°S.

D, inoffensive climate but summer nights too cool, along with the winters.

B+; splendid thunderstorm activity, highly variable summers with proper heat and constantly squally.
Snowfall manages quite well, too; although it is not much cooler than Canberra, it easily surpasses 10-20 snowfalls each year due to its exposed Westerly position astride the Abercrombie Range.
I've driven past here many times on the way between Crookwell and Oberon. Also, thank you for adding a weatherbox to its Wikipedia page.

This one is definitely an A from me. Reminds me of an aussie saint-girons Lommaren . I prefer Orange which a slightly cooler and wetter version of this one.
