GF and I are going interrailing through Europe in a couple of weeks, so here's a climate battle among our preliminary destinations. Amsterdam: Paris: Lugano Rome: Venice: Prague: KrakΓ³w (I think this is 2000-2012): Venice for me.

Prague, fucken?
Lugano is in an annoying winter mildness limbo.

KrakΓ³w, fucken!By far the snowiest of the lot. Also, its latitude isn't much more than the likes of Prague but it has a much better climate than Prague, thereby mitigating the ugly polar twilight rubbish

Rome is the best imo. Krakow is having 1396 hrs of sunshine per year?
The valleys north of the Tatra mountains are one of the cloudiest areas of Europe.

Cracovie, even though Pragueβs sunshine stats are better. I wonder how much of the cloudiness is caused by coal heating, Γ la London pre-clean air act. The air is toxic from November to March in Silesia, I feel for those who suffer from asthma or other respiratory conditions there, and there must be loads. Summer sunshine is crap too, though.

Venezia for me too. KrakΓ³w looks horrific with the sun totals.

Rome is the best by far.
Next is Venice, Lugano, and Paris, in that order.
The rest is all pretty bad. Amsterdam is the least of the evils followed by Prague, and then Krakow is dead last.
