As in a permanent residence of course!
For me I think it's tough whether I should include both C or D or not. Norrtälje had its positive sides as well, such as getting sizeable snow, but the quick cooldown at almost 60°N would be a bit annoying to my adult self. Also March would have too cool days there due to the maritime influence, whereas Örebro is much kinder in that regard. Ultimately I guess I'll have to go with both C- for Nyköping and Örebro and D+ for Norrtälje.
What about you all? I assume quite many have lived in the same location or within a few miles all their lives, but this will still be interesting since quite a few members have moved around a bit.

I don't know if the difference between Tavelsjö and Umeå are enough to warrant different ratings. Umeå obviously better but they're both just varying levels of shit.

So, low E/high F I suppose Babu ?
Even if only living in one rating zone you still ought to vote of course!

I've only lived two places so far
B:Phoenix, AZ (2001-Present) Loses points for: -July and August too hot and humid -June and September are mixed bags
F:Rochester, NY(birth/1982-2001) loses points for: -7 months of shitty weather October(turns cold mid month, sometimes snow) November(cold and shitty most years, cold rain early, snow later, very cloudy) December(November on steroids, only 25% possible sunshine, sub 9hr days by the Solstice, lots of snow, gets frigid towards New Years) January(Cloudy, frigid, lots of snow) February(January lite, slightly sunnier and days not as short) March(can't decide whether it wants to be winter or Spring, fairly snowy, some cold rain towards the end) April(morning frosts and freezes still regular, snow melted by second half of month but nothing grows yet, so just dead and brown, still get occasional snow, lots of cold rain typically, though higher sun % than any winter month or November)

I would say B+ for my village (around here) and B- for Turin. I've never actually lived in Turin, but I've been commuting to there everyday for six year now so I've experienced that climate quite a lot too.

For me: London D+ Norwich D Bourg Saint Maurice (French Alps) D Nice A-/B+ (Lived in the latter two for <6 months

For me: London D+ Norwich D Bourg Saint Maurice (French Alps) D Nice A-/B+ (Lived in the latter two for <6 months You've lived in Nice?! I didn't remember that. Summers feature ideal temperatures, but the dryness spoils them big time. Still, I'd rather spend a summer in Nice than in Paris. I'm afraid I'm too fond of the transition to subpolar oceanic evergrey in late autumn and the bareness of winter with the occasional snow to rate Paris below Nice. That, and the fact that temps in Nice are ridiculously stable.
