On the slopes of the gigantic mountain of Teide, the Izaña Observatory is located. Although it's just 1,300 metres of elevation beneath the summit it's outside of the strongest lava flows in case of an eruption. Combined with its high elevation and clear climate it has been chosen as a site of space observation.
This has previously been included in a C-D climate battle with London (I think it was), but has never been rated in its own right.
Temperature-wise, Izaña is somewhat reminiscent of Southern England, although a bit more moderated by the nearby sea. For its elevation, latitude and being on an offshore island it's quite seasonal, however.
My rating is a B-
Summers would be quite pleasant, even though UV would be a concern. Winters would feel much warmer than 7°C winters would be expected to be felt like given the UV strength and frequent sunshine. I would like it to be a bit warmer though. Some more precipitation between May and September would be useful. May being so cool also hurts it quite bad. In the sun those days would feel quite a bit warmer though given how high the sun angle is at that time, especially at its very high elevation.

E-. Cold and gay, with no thunderstorms. Only avoids the F coz of the sunshine.

October to May is such a limbo, damn. Nothing but sunshine and temps in the 50's for 8 months. Warmer than Umeå in every month though, as well as being sunny as hell. D

I have been there. I needed a jacket because it was in January. I would much rather recommend nearby Los Christianos at sea level where everyone else are staying. Why would anyone want to spend time in a cold place when it's nice and pleasant only kilometers away?

C-. No heat, no storms and it’s too stable but it’s extremely comfortable all year, is nice and dry, still gets some snow, and has some seasonality. Big step up from other boring but pleasant climates but I’d still prefer Rochester.

D-; pretty lame, too mild in all seasons, too dry, and way too sunny. I mean seriously. 3500 sunshine hours? That's way over the top.

Yep, essentially Sahara at a height off at sea with some orographic lift precipitation. Quite a unique and interesting climate, but I would understand why you found it too mild.

D-
The temperatures, though quite comfortable for me, are overly cool and monotonous, the sunshine hours are much too high for my liking, and the summers are far too dry (with the rest of the year still having too few precipitation days).
