Nova Scotia or the Basque Country? Similar latitude, similar sunshine, but aside from that they're very different.
I'll go with Biarritz for comfort and for drier summers. As far as humid continental climates go, Kentville is not optimal, but it's no disaster either. It's B+ vs C+.

Biarritz easily. Itβs also much warmer further inland or at least it feels like it is when Iβve been there
