Here we have a climate battle between three climates knot / Whöler Guy would give A++++ to, but with two polar maritime hellholes and one continental polar desert hellhole. Grytviken is my pick out of these three since it probably gets the most snowfall and is reasonably sunny outside of winter. Dalwhinnie is too cloudy for too long and North Platte is too extreme (24C in December, 23C in January...no thanks).

Dalwhinnie is plainly out of the question, as it is not as good as Grytviken (A+) by maritime standards.
This is an exceptionally hard decision in terms of climate, regarding North Platte vs Grytviken, but since I reside within and prefer the inland lifestyle, I will go with the best one for inland standards: North Platte, Nebraska.
Verdict: North Platte

North Platte by far! It’s an A-, the other 2 are Fs.

This is easy-North Platte. North Platte is too warm in daytime for me, and the winter record highs are far too warm with low snowfall. It's a B- climate. The other two are terrible. Cold wet summers and mild slushy/rainy/snowy winters. Grytviken is worse than Dalwhinnie.

🖕🏿Mörön🖕🏿 What does it have then? With an average of +1/-5 it seems like it would get rain, slush, and thaws often.

🖕🏿Mörön🖕🏿 What does it have then? With an average of +1/-5 it seems like it would get rain, slush, and thaws often. Grytviken is very much snowy; haven't you seen its forecasts from June to August? Almost everyday there is a snowstorm! Mild spells are rather short-lived, and are the only source of any rain for Grytviken's tremendously snowy winters. Polar, southwesterly (S, SW, SSW, WSW) fronts from the Southern Ocean are exceptionally potent in terms of lashing snowstorms, as it too lies within the heart of the Furious Fifties. This is a common Winter scene down in those far southerly latitudes:
