Located on a latitude between Des Moines and Minneapolis, it looks like a hybrid between the two. For me this one is a C-, in other words slightly better than the D+ Minneapolis but slightly worse than the C of Des Moines.

Shit winters but summers are acceptable with plenty of handsome thunderstorms.

A- excellent climate. Could be a bit wetter and warmer in summer and colder and snowier in winter, but it's quite good. Northern Iowa and Southern Minnesota is my favorite climate region in the US.

A+, FUCKEN! A rather weak A+, at that, due to the lack of dampness & snowfall during Winter

D. The US would have many decent climates if the summers weren't hot everywhere.

Weak A-
Not snowy enough in winter because those are perfect temps for snow.

A, FUCKEN!
Could stand to be 2ยฐC warmer and snowier, but these are pretty minor qualms in the grand scheme of things.
It's quite close to the climatic Nirvana that is the Quad Cities region.
