This won't be applicable to many posters here but for those of us with cold winters I thought it'd be fun to keep track of how many days we get where the temperature drops below freezing. I'm sure for most people this will be mainly for the daily lows but for myself and a few others I'm sure we'll be able to do this list with the daily highs as well (though I'll just be doing the lows for the moment as it's a bit early for subfreezing highs). I'll probably also be adjusting my scale to 10C increments as the winter gets going.
I'm just gonna do the current fall/winter season, not the whole year. Here we go, Saskatoon fall/winter 2018-2019:

Heathrow had 1 ice day in February and then 2 in March (March having never had one in recorded history).

We haven't had a day below 0°C since 1/1/2015, we haven't had a day below -5°C since 1/8/1971 and our all time record low is -8.9°C, so below -10°C will never happen here (and I doubt -5°C will ever be hit again either)

Average 16 freezes/year here and our mean annual low is -4.5C. Last -5C temp was in 2013 (-8.5C). All time record low is -15C.
