Two climates with quite negative favourables on here, but which of these Pacific metropolises will come out on top?
My vote is for LA, which is a solid B- climate. It lacks a bit of spring and autumn precipitation, the wildfire risk in its surroundings is quite severe, and I'd prefer if summer highs were slightly cooler. Either way, it's a good climate. Seattle is C+ to me. Summers are good, but winters are stuck in the boring single-digit range with perpetual rainfall and no lasting snow cover.

Seattle for at least being chilly and having a chance of snow in winter. There's no redeemable qualities of LA.

La. Drier and better heat. If Seattle had an evenly distributed precipitation pattern it would be an easy winner but I just canโt take those winters. D- vs. E.

I voted for Seattle. Winters are too warm in LA, if they were 10F cooler then LA would win.

LA. And it's not even close. One is similar to Malaga, Spain. The other is an upgraded version of Bergen.

LA easily. One of the best climates in the US.
Just needs cloudier/wetter winters and it would be perfect.
