 Lilongwe, Malawi is a tropical highland climate with mild weather most of the year due to its elevation of 1050m/3440'. Summer is wet and winter is very dry. I give it a C. It's not bad for a mild climate, but it's boring especially in winter. Summer could be exciting if the rain falls in thunderstorms. Malawi doesn't have much variety in climates. Warm weather lovers probably like the lower elevations better.
Karonga is a warmer version of Lilongwe. Nkhata Bay is similar to Karonga, but much wetter. There's not much for cold lovers or continental climate lovers in Malawi. Mzuzu is colder than Lilongwe in winter but also much wetter. Chelinda village is at 2365m, much higher than Lilongwe. There might be climate data for it. But even the highest mountain of 3002m won't be cold. |

- Temps are a bit flat
- Record highs could be higher
- Rain is in the correct season
- Quite comfortable all year round

B+, great temperatures but with too much summer precipitation bias (as I don't like strong dry seasons). Sunshine is pretty good IMO, except in the wet season
