Långlamora is a climate located on an island on my fictional planet, just above 60°N, but as you might remember, that planet is warmer on higher latitudes than Earth. This results in a rather strange climate by Earthly standards, influenced by being in between two landmasses of a split continent, with about 250 km to the western landmass and 275 km to the eastern one. Långlamora gets rather windy weather on occasion with frequent winter snow, warm summers that reliably stay in the 20's for several months, with high sunshine. The low-pressure dominated winters with mild SST's until February keep temperatures much milder than on both mainland's coastal areas, where the interior dominates. This leads to the climate only being just cold enough to avoid an abundance of cold rain dominating all winter, although it is dominant in December.
Keep attention to average high and low standing next to one another. The record lows should not be confused with average lows. For the record, the western shore of the sea it lies in sees 26/15 summers (July), whereas the eastern sees 25/18 (August). Långlamora is in a shallow enough spot for lows to be very warm locally.
My rating is a C+
I can't stand cold rain, so November and December would be a nightmare. Winters would often be rather alright, and summers are pleasant, although I'd like higher diurnals than it has.

Horrible sunshine distribution but decent, if not inoffensive temps.

D-. Too mild, summer too cool, too wet—especially in fall, and the stability is awful.

Doesn't that help sommer night whöling quite a bit? That latitude and all that. Should be lots of them swimming around!

Even if I had rated this by maritime standards, the summers would be much too warm. Latitude doesn't matter by maritime standards for me (my maritime dream climate is at 57°-58° S), but even by those standards it is not a good climate.

C-
Had so much potential but fell so short. The temperatures are decent and relatively comfortable but the summers leave a lot to be desired (and I'm not a fan of that much seasonal lag - June should not be colder than September), and the winters are too wet and gloomy for my liking.
Increase the summer averages by a couple degrees (and records by a lot), tone down the seasonal lag a bit and make the winters drier and sunnier and this would be quite a nice climate.
