Aberfeldy yields a chiefly subalpine climate; however, contrarywise to more inland subalpine climates in NSW (such as Anglers Reach, Black Springs or Kiandra), it is plainly of greater maritime influence—particularly during its "Summer". Aberfeldy receives an average of 32.5 snowy days annually; by comparison, Thredbo Village and Kiandra receive 34.9 and 47.5 snowy days, respectively. I shall award Aberfeldy with a B; lovely, snowy winters, but too cool and maritime-influenced during its warmer months. Record lows are also rather too mild—especially considering its southerly latitude of 37.7° S and high altitude of 1,060 m AMSL. 1,060 m AMSL; 37° 43' 14.6" S^

E-
Cold year round, complete dearth of exciting temps, biggest offence are the crummers.

Awful crummers, shit winters, too much cold rain, shitty low temperatures all year. Verdict: gay.

Yeah, I'm going to have to go E on this one too. I tried looking for it in the BoM archives but couldn't find it, am I not looking properly or is this data elsewhere?

Oy, I'm sorry but the best I can give this one is a C- lad. Just nowhere near cold enough winters and the summers are quite gay.

Lame crummers, lame temperatures in winter (especially the record lows, seriously, -6 C/- 7 C record low with a 0 C average low?!) OK precipitation totals. Verdict: E; and gay.

Lame crummers, lame temperatures in winter (especially the record lows, seriously, -6 C/- 7 C record low with a 0 C average low?!) OK precipitation totals. Verdict: E; and gay. Those petty record lows are due chiefly to its rather coastal location (only 78 miles from Melbourne), and its rather heavy cloud cover during the Winter: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eildon,_Victoria Aberfeldy is much higher than Eildon (which only straddles 232 m AMSL), thereby Aberfeldy would be even cloudier than 69.0 hrs in June. Especially considering the long winter daylight at 38° S, it is much cloudier during Winter than many British climates.

Had no idea about that climate search function on weatherzone, I'm going to have a lot of fun with that...
