As inspired by Ariete's "UtΓΆ not frosty" Methodology: Months where frost occurs in most or all years (Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, Oct, Nov, Dec) were sorted by number of days with a minimum of freezing or lower. In the case of ties (for example, there are five Decembers in the weather record where all 31 days had frost), the month with the lowest average minimum temperature was used (in this case, December 1983) All years used are since 1900. There was one September with frost (1995), so that one was used. For June, July, and August, the measurement used is most days that drop below 55F.

Not bad, not bad at all. Winters are a bit monotonous and too cold, and of course the precipitation pattern is far from ideal. April's lows are too cool as well, highs are fine. May snow is of course a no-no. Still a B+, very good cherrypick.
edit: fucken.

Surprisingly good. Cold, snowy winters but still warm in April and October. Summer isn't too hot either. A-. The biggest problem is that it snows in May but not November.

A. Why does October get snow but not November @sari This isn't a fictional climate, this is a cherrypick climate. These are real months. Jan 1979, Feb 1978, Mar 1965, Apr 2018, May 1907, Jun 1985, Jul 2014, Aug 1992, Sep 1995, Oct 1917, Nov 2000, Dec 1983. The months with the most frost. Or, in the case of the summer months, the months with the most lows below 55F. Read the post
