I finally got around to doing one of these. Generally, I'm a seasonless room temperature guy, but this summer I started feeling like it wouldn't be half bad with just a month or so of cooler weather to change things up a bit. And man do I LOVE spring, and fall colors are pretty nice too. So if I were to abandon room temperature winters, this has got to be the best way to do it, while keeping it looking reasonably realistic. Let's summarize the climate without doing a Schlom, going on and on about random westerlies and continental positions and topography and geography and whatnot. To start this off, this climate is located at roughly 48ยฐN. Winters are very brief and sunny. Although the means don't look very cold, remember the seasons change very quickly, so late December and early January are significantly colder than the two months as a whole (maybe a 1 month period averaging -6.5'C means). Snow cover is about 40 days a year, with fairly reliable (about 4/5 days) snow cover between Dec 20 and Jan 15, despite the low precipitation amounts, but rarely gets thicker than 20cm. Spring has a very strong warmup and starts early in February. It starts off pretty dry, but gets more and more rain showers the further into spring you get. Then once you hit summer, the highs plateau a bit as the lows continue warming, as the precipitation and humidity increases from frequent thunderstorms. Once fall arrives, it gets noticeably drier quickly and temperatures start dropping dramatically around mid-October. So what do you think? For me it's an A+ climate, my only A+ climate with a proper winter.

The winter dryness is good, the snowfall seems pretty good too, average highs October to May look great.
Winter is WAY too stable
Crummer is pretty lame, mild, stable and wet.
Nights are too warm.
C-/C, pretty meh.

Iโll give it a C-
Main complaint is that it looks really boring

I hate frigid weather, and I like exotic plants so I felt there wasn't any reason to have the record lows you'd expect from those winter means, but I should probably have dropped the record lows a couple of degrees for realism.

I give it a C. The winter is short and that helps alot. It would be even better with less precitiption and with higher highs in the summer. I would say Osoyoos en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osoyoos is as good as it gets while still having a winter.

A. Great climate! If sunshine hours were a little lower this would probably be an A+.

March mean should be 8.4ยฐC? Temperatures in early March~early June / mid September~early November periods are A+. A brief freezing winter won't hurt much though far from my ideal, overall grade B-.

Lol, I saw the error and corrected it, and I'm pretty sure I uploaded the corrected version to imgur, but when I edited the OP I must've pasted the old URL

I would rate this climate a B-.. I dislike the precipitation pattern- especially the dryness of the cool season... I appreciate that the summers are still mildish, but the nights especially are on the warmer end of my tolerance...late spring is also too warm, and november too chilly... I also don't particularly care for the harsh month in late december-early january, but it's not too prone to severe, brutal cold, which helps it avoid a C... also too sunny.... Babu , did you get a chance to rate saluvria and nouveau-natashquan? You might enjoy the former climate for its long, warm (but not hot) summers!

It's better than southern Portugal and SW Spain due to more precipitation. The other one is a C. Better than Vancouver thanks to sunshine and to an extent summer warmth, but worse than Victoria due to excessive precipitation

C+. Mediocre summers and poor winters. But seasonality is good and spring/fall are decently warm considering the winter and summer temperatures.
P.S. I noticed I gave a solid C on the city-data thread.
