2018 for me. Good, warm summer, with decent sunshine and rain totals. 2010 is the only year that winter would be interesting but the sun hours are too low. An average of 7 versus 10 doesn't matter as much as 21 or 24 in summer.

I must say, I think London's climate gets a bad rap, none of these years are very bad, there's a good mix of conditions, heat, cold, rain, sunshine, seasonal. It's not that bad. If anything, I think it's the winters that have something to answer for, rather than summers, a few more snowstorms wouldn't go astray.

I voted 2014 after some thought. It has good precipitation and decent sunshine for London and is the warmest year overall. Summers are too weak but I have to make some sacrifices. 2003 and 2018 are also pretty good.

2010 for the winters, just like everyone else who wants winter. And yeah August is disgusting, but June and July look alright.
