D. Way too stable, cloudy, and boring. Wrong precip pattern too. Decent snow helps it a bit.

I'll give it a solid C.
Decent sunshine in winter.

F+. Winter is fucking gross, summer is too cool, wet and stable and thereโs not enough snow.

I'll give it a solid C. Decent sunshine in winter. It's probably rainier and chilier than vancouver during the spring, but warmer and drier during the fall...

I actually think it's a tiny bit better than London because annual average temperature is only 0.2 C lower (when averaging annual highs and lows) and sunshine is significantly higher. I thought about giving a C+ but it doesn't compare with Seattle due to the weak summer mean maxima, so I eventually settled with a solid C.

It looks like it might exist on the Atlantic coast of France somewhere...or maybe somewhere in New Zealand?
C+ - far better summers than my own climate, but it's a bit wet and those winters are weak.
Also, how do you expect to average 0.1 snow days in May (1 snow event every 10 years) if the month of May has never dropped below freezing? Snow really can't happen above about 2C or so, maybe 3.5C in exceptional conditions, so either you've got a crazy high standard deviation and come within less than one degree of record temperatures regularly, or that statistic is unrealistic.

The city center has considerably milder winters than my location (mine are 1/7 vs 5.5/10, a pretty substantial difference)... Heathrow is closer, but it is a bit dry and cloudy for my taste... so a B+? I wouldn't mind summer maxima a bit higher, really, though, either... just not too many days in the mid-80's... .. I would view Lille and Brussels as just a touch closer than London (we're probably splitting hairs there, though)... Amsterdam & Cologne are a bit chilly, Paris is a bit warm.... All in all, that region (NW Europe) is good for me climate-wise, but I wouldn't mind if the cities were sunnier and wetter... Yes, Heathrow. Your climate has an annual average of 11.1 C (if you just average the annual high and low). Heathrow has an annual average of 11.3 C.

Heathrow has an annual average of 11.3 C. yes... but I think that pattern may be a touch uneven... during the summer and autumn, the temperature "spikes" at the high and falls quickly, so the mean is probably a touch lower than just the mere averages of the temps... but yes...

I think the precip and sunshine are closer to the Atlantic Coast but the temperature variation is a bit more like the region North of Paris (Nord-pas-de-calais and Picardie?) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lille#Climate -- closer temps, but too gloomy and a weaker winter wet season than I prefer... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royan#Climate. -- better precip pattern and sunshine, but winters are a bit too mild... I don't think NZ is continental enough to have a climate I am looking for... just a bit too oceanic probably for me... parts of it have good sunshine and precip patterns though (it tends to be sunnier and wetter than most oceanic climates)... SW British Columbia (and perhaps NW Washington as well) is probably the other region that's similar... but that region is a bit too dry during the summer and/or too wet overall...

Cโ; fine winters, but summers are FAR too stable and boring, not to mention jack-all storm activity.
