Proper Winters, Thank You Very Much! Feb 1991 was the coldest month of the decade, and also the snowiest month in the UK since 1947.

Isn't 1991 the one that got a lot of snow? If so it's easily my choice. Yes, but that also had one of the worst Junes ever (I think only 1972 was colder).
June 1990 and 1991 are the 3rd and 4th cloudiest Junes on record.

1990.
Apart from Feb 1991 London winters don't have anything worth getting excited about so I'm mostly looking for the sunniest or the one with the longest warm season, and 1990 gets it for that very impressive April/May sunshine.
