Tianjin by far is my preference.
Tijuana is fucking shit. That 49C record high is mighty impressive though. Very strange!

A close battle, but I will go with Tianjin. Tijuana is boring.
EDIT: will change to Tijuana

Is Tijuana's data correct? It seems off compared to San Diego, but I know San Diego's station is right on the ocean while Tijuana's is likely inland. Still, the 120ยบF in September and 116ยบF in October makes zero sense. So does the 32ยบF in September.
EDIT: The 120ยฐF high has not been seen in any part of the SD metro area. The data is absolutely incorrect.

Both are far from ideal but I'd rather have milder months than swinging from extremes so Tijuana it is.

September and October are usually the hottest months in southern California and NW Mexico. A record low of 0C in September makes no sense when San Diego has a September record low of 10C. Record highs in September and October are more plausible, but Los Angeles hasn't recorded anything over 45C before.

Surprisingly, Tijuana. Tianjin's winters are pointless enough that I'll rather go for the full comfort and less oppressive summers of Tijuana.

I might have to choose Tijuana, Mexico for its dry summers. Although I like the seasonal temperature variation of Tianjin more, I don't like the precipitation pattern.

Tijuana, but only slightly. The chinger climate has terribly dry and snowless, frigid winters.

Tijuana. It's mild and tolerable. Tianjin has hot, humid summers and dry cool winters with only the in-between months being any good.

that 0ยฐC record low in September for Tijuana has to be an error; it's one of the warmest months there and doubt anywhere close to the Pacific records a freeze in September. Ignoring inland valleys, of course. Also the record for October is 5ยฐC and August is 10.5ยฐC

Tijuana for the lack of winter. Although ideally, I'd live in Tijuana Oct-Mar and Tianjin Apr-Sep
