Gordon Ramsey is fucking epic. He's a legend, and unlike most TV Chefs, the guy is also one of the best in the business, 16 Michelin Stars! Most top chefs would be happy with just one.

I would love to try his food. I'm gonna have to check to see if he has any restaurants down here in Miami, lol. The guy is also a really genuine, nice and caring person. His interactions with people who aren't chefs are usually extremely pleasant. Good dude. I also like his no-BS, straight-forward approach to everything.

Yeah, that nasty thing is a bit of an act he puts on for the cameras, and is far more exaggerated on the American versions of his shows. I've read that he's actually a really nice person in real life, he even remembers the names of minor members of the production crew.

Yeah, I'd probably have to save up a pretty penny to eat at one of his restaurants lol. If you watch Kitchen Nightmares, you can see how nice and polite he is when he speaks with the waiters/waitresses. Always a super nice, genuine dude. I leave the exaggeration more in the hands of American idiocy than anything. Everything here is about drama, *gasps*, and ratings lol. Part of the reason I would assume why reality TV is so popular.

He realizes that Americans like more drama, so he goes one step further. On the UK versions of his shows he does swear a lot, I think he holds the record for saying "fuck" the most times in a 60 minute program, and none of it is censored. Although on a show like Kitchen Nightmares, on the UK version it actually seemed like he genuinely cared about saving the restaurants, and spent loads of time there to help them get everything right, and he also had a higher success rate a result. On the US version he stays for a few days, creates loads of drama, and then basically just get others to do the actual fixing. I do like both versions, but it's interesting to see how they're deliberately tailored to different audiences.

^ I honestly somewhat disagree on the American side of that. He actually has saved a good deal of restaurants and businesses here, usually the ones he creates a lot of drama in are because the owner and chefs are arrogant douches who can't admit they're wrong. He seems to not give a shit when the owners themselves don't give a shit as well.
He has a totally different attitude when the owners and chefs are nice, humble, and caring people.

He got better as the seasons went on, the success rate in the earlier seasons was pretty poor, but improved with each season to the point where most were being saved. I know on the original UK version he would keep revisiting for months afterwards, even taking control of the finances and everything, to help them get everything working properly. There's definitely different styles though, the UK version has less editing and voiceovers. I also recall it had the just one occasion I can remember where he actually loved the food. Some African American lady with a soul food place in Brighton
