This climate yields a solid 'A' from me. Sufficiently cold winters with very warm (but not hot) summers. Precipitation, on average mind you, is a bit low in all seasons but I'm sure it wouldn't be too annoying. Anyway, great climate!

D+. Winters too cold and cloudy. Summers slightly too cool.

Kharkiv looks like a more moderated, but drier version of Minneapolis. I'll give it a C+. Winters are too cold and gloomy, but summers look pleasant, although heatwaves may make the season less comfortable. Prefer Sebastopol as my favorite climate in the country (albeit still somewhat too continental).

Bโ; variable summers (which are very rare for Europe), winters slightly too cold and far too dry, but at least some variety and fun weather in the mix.
Summer looks far too drizzly with not enough storm activity, however. Not much diurnal range, either. Summer looks quite muggy, too, which is another downside.

Righto, matey It is now upgraded to a strong B, straddling on B+. That's more like it. The Adriatic coast to the Ural mountains is extremely convective during the warm season. Just look at the satellite loop Donar posted: cdweather.boards.net/post/86547

Solid climate, but could be warmer in summer and colder in winter, and have more precipitation. B-. This could well be the best climate in Europe...

D. Not warm enough throughout the year and too dry. Too cloudy a good portion of the year.

Not bad at all. C for me. Could use a bit less cold extremes, but averages are good for humid continental climates!

A-, could be colder in winter but it should keep snow cover most of the time. Probably better than southern Wisconsin due to the weaker sun.
