imgur.com/a/UbLEJ2PRemembered the shoutbox discussion on Wednesday and made tables for my dream climates. Which do you prefer? Temperate is an extreme mild version of Dunsmuir, CA. Tropical is a slightly cooler Northern Hemisphere version of Suva, Fiji. I'd be interested to know Steeler's choice... Also, what would you rate both climates?

Your temperate one gets a B/B-, your tropical a C-.

The link you gave is pretty blurry. Could you upload each one separately?
You’re right—It’s a tough choice...it’s hard to see clearly now so I’m not quite sure.

Temperate one for more seasonal variation. The temperate climate seems very good, but it needs warmer summer nights, more summer rain, and less winter rain. B+ climate bordering on A- anyways. The tropical climate is a C for year-round summer weather. This is very similar to your temperate climate: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chill%C3%A1n#ClimateI'd give it an borderline A- for less rain than your temperate dream climate. I like rain but I prefer moderate amounts.

I give it a borderline B+ / A-, just needs a little more rain (shorter dry season) to fully make it into the A range.

I just prefer an even precip pattern with somewhat less rain and warmer summer lows.

I’ll go with the tropical one and fairly easily.
The temperate one is just suicidal from November to April while the tropical one seems comfortable most of the time and seems to have shorter lived rain.
The temperate one one is also pretty stable and gets barely any snow so there’s not much interesting weather I’m missing and the tropical one seems to get some nice thunderstorms at least.
Tropical is an E, temperate is borderline F+/E-.
