The climate is a B-, pleasant and comfortable, but too warm especially in winter which has never seen a negative temperature. Now that I think about it, I wonder what the least climatically diverse state in the US is? Most diverse is almost certainly California, but least...maybe Louisiana? Missouri has to be pretty high on the undiverse list. Rhode Island or Delaware maybe? Both are very small with no mountains. There is a difference between northern and coastal southern Louisiana but nothing like bigger states.
Good point. There's a reasonable level of difference between Block Island and Foster. Probably about the same as Louisiana. Delaware, though, has surprising diversity. Wilmington is definitely what I would call a "northeast" or "mid-atlantic" climate, but a place like Rehoboth Beach, which barely has an average low below freezing even in January, wouldn't be out of place much further to the south. Also observe the snowfall gradient: 20"+ north and west of Wilmington, but under 10" in the south. That's a lot of variation for not a lot of distance traveled.

Crunch41 sari probably DE more so than RI? RI probably has a sharper inland/coastal difference than all of DE, which seems closer to the coast as a whole and less of a snowfall difference... Rhode Island also has Cfa, Dfa, Cfb, and Dfb climates (think this is the case whether you use the 0C or -3C isotherm- although maybe not Cfa with 0c-- looks like newport can barely squeeze in there judging by google stats), while DE is all Cfa! Actually-- rather suprising diversity for such a small state! upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a5/New_England_K%C3%B6ppen.png

A C from me, generally pleasant but could do with hotter summers.

B-; it's good but would be excellent with 5'C tacked onto every month, as the summers are a little weak.

I'm giving this a C+.
Temperatures are somewhat too warm, and most Australian cities seem to have a really hit and miss precipitation pattern. Although one big positive is no snow.

B+ for the climate, A+ for the effort.
