A very typical winter temperature here. Even in my dream climate it's considered a winter temperature.

Depends—are we talking maxima? If so, then it's definitely spring-like. It's the average max for Sep.
However, as occured recently (near the beginning of the month), 12° C maxes or lower do occur in summer as well, albeit with the overwhelming majority in Dec; seldom in the other summer months, which are much more stable.

Northern Victoria / Southern Riverina 54f ( 12.2c ) is about average or slightly above average for July ( mid winter ). Places at slight or greater altitude and higher latitude will be a bit colder on average.

Anything above freezing is springlike if the sun is out, for me.

Certainly spring like. The record high for my area in January is 59 F. Average high is 27 F. In the profile pic, I was wearing a vest over tank top when it was 54 F and it was very comfortable.

Depends really. If it's overcast then it could quote easily be a winter day. However if it's sunny, it would certainly feel like spring.

54°F is definitely springlike and it's closer to summer weather than winter weather.

Deffo springlike, it's about the March average high. Should it happen in winter, it still wouldn't feel wintry at all.

Definitely more springlike here as that is the average high in early April.

In Philadelphia, PA that is the avg high in mid March. Depends on whether or not one considers March a winter month, but in Philadelphia they consider it early Spring not winter.
