For those you don't want to start rate threads for, but rather just share Here's Anglershaven, which is a fishing and grazier village at 43ยฐC with plenty of precipitation, snowfall, thunderstorms, handsome diurnals, instability and so forth. Located at the west end of an Australia-sized continent in a mountainous coastal landscape on a fiord, it has a bit of a Hokkaido/Tofino/inland PNW hybrid feel to it.
Thoughts knot and ๐๐ฟMรถrรถn๐๐ฟ ? I'd assume while Steelernation would be alright with the summers, you'd go insane during those winters? For me it's a D, the winter rain and the slush is too much, but summers offset some of that and luckily snow on the ground remains at 100 cm or so at most. It's a bit of a shame that geography doesn't allow such a climate in the PNW because there really are many things in this one that are seen in various places around there.

Girl, that is one nice climate despite the hot summers and mild winters. The snowfall is great which makes up for those crappily warm winters.
Too much sun in summer but just right in winter! Hooooooo boy!

Summer is nice but too cool and wet. October to April is a disaster though.

As you may know, my dream climate and city is Arcleo. Arcleo is a city-state bordering the country of Arcsirius. Arcsirius is a large country and has a wide variety of different climates. I made some climate tables for cities in Arcsirius. The three climates that I have already made are Brindo, Aurelia, and Lariko. Brindo is a humid continental climate at 45N with warm summers and long, cold winters. Aurelia is a mediterranean climate at 35N with mild winters and warm, dry summers. Lariko is a (relatively mild) hot desert climate at 32N with mild, dry winters and hot, dry summers. Personally I give Brindo a C-, Aurelia a B+, and Lariko a C-.

Did a climate box for the far outskirts of the urban area of my dream city. No UHI and more pronounced seasons:

Puerto Irlanda, a settlement in Nuevo Argentina at 47ยฐS located near a cool current with a mild and semi-continental desert to its west. Southeasterlies from an Antarctica-like landmass in winter bring plenty of sea-effect snowfall on a few occasions each month, whereas summers are dominated by high-pressure, but moderated by the cold water. In spite of this, there are a few big thunderstorms each summer as the cool and hot air collide, which results in a very interesting precipitation pattern in which shoulder seasons are desertlike, but it's neither dry-summer or dry-winter. Winter rainfall is quite rare, since north-easterlies are more arid in nature.
It's a C+ for me. Lots of great sunshine, but winter highs are a bit mediocre and will not result in the snow sticking around at all times. At least summers are too hot for Wilko, which is a bonus.
The name comes from being founded by Irish settlers. Obviously it's not entirely realistic on this planet since Eastern Argentina is so arid, but on another with maybe more landmass in the southern hemisphere, it might be. Thoughts on it? ๐๐ฟMรถrรถn๐๐ฟ , knot , tij , Steelernation , Babu ?

Summers are a bit too sunny for my taste, but have pleasant temperatures. Winters are too cold, but milder than Providence so acceptable ish, and the annual extreme minimum is not severe. It's definitely on the dry size for me-- and spring is unacceptably so imo (likely fall as well-- I prefer it a bit drier but not quite that dry. Needs more cool, showery weather to score higher imo-- it's a B=/C+ right now.

Another Arcsirian climate here. Gormin is a mild oceanic climate at 50N on the west coast of Arcsirius. It is bordered by open ocean to the north and west while being influenced by a warm ocean current. I give it a C/C+. Too cool year-round, especially in summer. Also a bit too cloudy and wet for a cooler climate. Thoughts? tij Cadeau

Rate Ny-Nashquatuxet! This is a maritime east-coast climate, modeled after Martha's Vineyard and Block Island. Like Natashquitlan, it was settled due to its particularly favorable geography. It features chilly winters with the occasion for heavier snowstorms due to a warm tropical current encouraging cyclogenesis. Spring is slow to arrive, but summer offers gorgeously warm weather. Fall is pleasantly mild, on the other hand. Sunshine is around 2500 hrs, with an even distribution, and is typically sheltered from winter winds except during storms, but is breezy during the summer and autumn. This is A- from me! Chilly winters and springs cause some creative tension and anticipation for the warm season! ๐๐ฟMรถrรถn๐๐ฟ what do you think? It offers elements that could be considered a milder version of the Canadian Maritimes... Sort of a cross between them and Vancouver perhaps? Lommaren how does this one do compared to Block Island with a bit warmer spring? Yahya Sinwar how does this one compare to toxaway for having a bit less rain? Might not like the distribution so much tho....

As far as oceanic climates go, that is an excellent climate, although I'd cut the rainfall by quite a bit to make summers ideal. However, I presume it often falls in big chunks on summer days?

Could you add sunshine and replace the original if you have time? Above 2,000 hours for a climate like that is a must for a B.
