Tai Shan (泰山) is one of the Five Great Mountains of China. Its summit is 1533m above sea level on the northern Chinese plain. It unsurprisingly has cooler temperatures than nearby low-elevation Jinan. Also, it has higher precipitation, slightly lower seasonal range, and significantly lower diurnal range. F+ for me. Just far too cold year-round with a lack of warmth. The average annual high temperature is even colder than Quebec City. Mid-summer offers the greatest chance of warmth but it gets too much rain. However, the relatively dry winters are an advantage as snowfall would be lower. I know this is in Chinese, but stats are self-explanatory. Columns include record highs/lows, average highs/lows, daily means, precipitation, and precipitation days. The climate box gets cut off at the end when I use Google Translate so I decided to leave it in Chinese. Link to climate boxAs usual, please rate fairly and do not consider non-climatic factors such as pollution.
sari What do you think?

It's a B+ climate. Could be snowier, but it's not too dry in winter. Good find!

Grade C-. A slightly improved version of Daegwallyeong, likable how monthly rainfall exceeding 100 mm are limited to 4 months.

E-
Far from ideal. Too rainy summers and cold desert winters.

E. Too cold for too long and summer is awful.
