One of the most arid climates on earth, I think some interior climate near it was even more arid, but Arica has the coastal moderation too, essentially resembling Funchal a whole lot for temperatures.
For me temperatures are A++++++++++++++++ but the complete absence of any rainfall and the challenges this brings to water access brings it down to B+.

For me those temps would be a C but due to the lack of rain it gets demoted to a D+. At least the total sunshine amount is very good, quite moderate and comfortable, and days are good, although I'd prefer somewhat cooler nights... It also gets a damp fog which would be nice.... I'd miss the rain but I'll still take this over awful climates (I'm willing to endure mediocre ones for rain though).

C-. Too mild and dry. Temps can get a B but dryness ruins it. Still better than cold-dominated climates though.
