These climates are fairly similar, but Bowling Green tends to be a bit more extreme when it comes to temperatures and severe weather. Which would you prefer?

Both are gross Cfa types, but Knoxville is close to the smokies so if I lived in a exurban area nearby I could be happy-ish with my climate

Knoxville since it's a bit milder. Both are C/C+ climates though for their nasty summers.

Wiki box looks like their winters are near identical to my location with the exception of being 4800' higher and 425 miles south. Summers are cool for its lattidue for sure

Bowling green. More continental and a bit more snow.

I'll go with the one in Kentuckistan rather than the Tennessistan one, although they are fairly similar.

Knoxville for being milder (both winter and summer) and having warmer lows year-round.
Both are good B to B+ range climates though.

I'm actually going to maybe surprise some people and go with Knoxville.
Bowling Green is like KC: Surrounded by a huge monotonyland of the same climate, all around.
Knoxville has pockets of better climates around it.
