Aurora was down to Colorado yesterday. It was cloudy in Fort Collins so i drove north to Cheyenne where I didn’t see anything even though people were tweeting pics of auroras there the same time I was. Then drove out to Kimball, NE since I’d heard there were good sightings on the plains but still nothing. Then to go out to fort Morgan which had had a lot of reports but the sun started rising so I turned around.
Should’ve just driven out to fort Morgan at 10 PM but i thought I’d be able to drive 45 minutes and see them in Cheyenne.
3 states, 7 hours of driving and all I saw was a coyote.

AJ1013to the naked eye, there wasn't nearly as much color as the camera picked up.
