Based off of SE Queensland. This climate is on a fictional continent at 28N with an extremly tall (think himalayas type) mountain chain running horizontally to its north which blocks very cold air. Winters are nice and relatively sunny, almost like an English summer but more arid. Summers are very warm to hot with regular thunderstorms.

You should add a Poll, too. Never mind I rate it a C. Summer is a bit too hot, but it should get good storms. Winter is far too mild. Sunshine and rain totals are decent. On second thought, D+ since summer is very long.

The climate is an E+ I guess. At least summers seem semi-arid and not fully arid and it has a cool season.

At least summers seem semi-arid and not fully arid and it has a cool season. That’s getting a bit ridiculous. Being too dry for you is one thing, that’s perfectly fine but saying 5”/month for several month with rain on a third of the days is “semi arid” is just stupid. Anyway it’s a D-, very boring but inoffensive.

Ok I guess I live somewhere with arid summers lmao. Seriously come here and say it’s arid, you’d be laughed back to Florida.
Oh and here’s my scale:
<0.1” = Arid 0.1-0.5” = Semi arid 0-5”-1.5” = Moderate 1.5”-4” = Wet 4”+ = Excessive

Hmm... B+ I think after some deliberation.
Summers are a touch too wet and probably stormy too to get an A, but it's a very good climate, no mistake about it.

I'd say <30 mm = arid, 30-60 mm = semi-arid, 60-120 mm = moderate, 120-240 mm = wet, 240+ mm = very wet for a summer month.
