Inner-tropical highland vs outer-tropical lowland. Please ignore air pollution.
For me it's Dhaka. The slight seasonal variation is worth the discomfort.

cali seems more comfortable overall, despite the loss of seasonality. Also less humid, so I prefer cali.

Cali because it doesn't have steam bath lows most of the year like Dhaka. Cooler overall.

Cali because Dhaka is too hot in summer. There is definitely some "appeal" of climates like Cali but I think I would rather have a cooler winter.

Cali for being cloudier, cooler at night and drier.

Dhaka for at least having some seasonal variance, and for tropical climates the wetter the better.

Cali is boring but pretty nice year round. Dhaka's hot season is just too humid and nasty, no competition for the permanently nice Cali

Purko-saurus. Dhaka for having a fake ass cool season I'm actually impressed at their Januaries, didn't expect their average lows to dip into the 50s! Not bad

Cali for being cooler than Dhaka most of the year and having reasonable precipitation amounts.

Cali. It has no temperature variation, but it's not as hot as Dhaka most of the year. Summer nights in Dhaka are terrible.

Dhaka. More sunshine and at least some sort of 'cool' season. Although those summers do look a bit too long and humid.

Both are detestable but Dhaka for being sunnier, and that isn't say much

Cali, as it's cooler and much drier, it has the perfect amount of rain for somewhere tropical. Not a fan of Dhaka's intense monsoons.
Cali actually just looks like my summer but every month. July for me averages 84.5/65.8 with 3.97" of rain, starkly similar to Cali.

Since Cali is cloudier and more drizzle, I vote Dhaka despite its temps and humidity
