I was never the biggest Rolling Stones fan either. I always strongly preferred the Beatles. But the Stones have a few songs I like.

I was never the biggest Rolling Stones fan either. I always strongly referred the Beatles. But the Stones have a few songs I like. I mostly listen to and post their 60's bluesy rock stuff, but it's often said that their best period was when Mick Taylor played guitar for them, 1969-1974. He brought a lot more melody to their work. He played a big part in the song you posted above. |

I have never been the biggest fan of classic rock'n'roll. In rock, I tend to prefer the more melodic stuff. The Stones' most well-known stuff isn't quite to my liking, so I never checked the entirety of their repertoire, as I did for some other bands. That means I'm quite ignorant of their lesser-known songs. On the contrary, say, Pink Floyd have famous songs like Wish You Were Here or Comfortably Numb that appealed to me at first and helped me get into even their psychedelic stuff from the late 60s. |
