The crescendo is used as the theme song for F1 coverage, so as great as it sounds, it gives me mixed feelings as it reminds me of a very dull sport.

This was the top-selling song of all time here in the UK, funnily enough the previous top seller had also been a song he'd written, "She Loves You". The record was later taken by the Band Aid xmas single in 1984. I think Elton John's "Candle in the Wind", now holds the record. Mainly because he performed it at Princess Diana's funeral.

Strewthless - I don't think it wasn't up to standard. That's a good song. LA Woman is good. But there was a noticeable creative decline by about 1969. Had Jim Morrison lived longer, I think they would have declined creatively as the 70s progressed. Just my opinion.
